SERIES INTRODUCTION
COLD SMOKE is the pilot episode to the broadcast series GLACIER CITY, introducing the fictitious small mountain town along with its diverse cast of eclectic locals. Channeling a sharpness and spontaneity of Woody Allen, the series blends wit, action and drama within a cinema verite, fictional documentary style. The situational comedy exploring a 6˚of separation theory and the law of cause and effect.
Each show traces the seemingly random paths of a few characters as they work, travel and play, to weave together their seemingly separate stories into one dramatic finish.
Our globalizing society is uniquely visible through its small population of adventure sport bums, global nomads, miners, doctors, lawyers and developers and free thinking native residents.
Developed for multiple digital formats, the single-length :24 minute timeline will be segmented into eight - 3 minute webisodes for streaming and mobile device download.

PILOT EPISODE INTRODUCTION
A plot-driven action-drama, COLD SMOKE chronicles the story of an experienced ski mountaineer as he pursues his dream to be the first to climb and ski the face of an exotic and remote Alaskan mountain peak. Interspersed during his solo odyssey, flashbacks to the past shed insight into his motivations and development. Each flashback vignette illustrates a profound life shaping experience and links his current solitude to a myriad of colorful characters from his home ski-town of Glacier City. His dry internal dialogue light-heartedly voices the complex decisions and skills he must use to survive while pushing the envelope within the vast and unforgiving terrain.
Forming a new genre of branded info-tainment, the story blends drama, action and a dose of wilderness sense to engage a wide audience.
COLD SMOKE SYNOPSIS
Pursuing his dreams, an experienced skier attempts a bold first ski descent on a towering mountain face in Alaska. To push his abilities and survive the raw forces of nature, he must harness the power of his mind, body and spirit. Isolated in the stark wilderness, his inner vision unfolds revealing the people and experiences which have shaped and propelled him to this dramatic moment.
